An Orthomerica Startscanner is a safe scanner consisting of a laser and eight cameras to produce a high quality scan while keeping your child as comfortable as possible. The process of creating a custom fit Cranial Remolding Helmet takes approximately two weeks, and although you will need multiple visits during the period of therapy, a second helmet, to help with the remolding process, is very rarely needed.
